camp part II

so much for the past two days of accumulated fatigation; though I may not have fully recouped from the 2day-one-night outdoor camp@sparkc. Despite the distressing untimely weather that took a toll on certain activities, we were still able to push on and continued the activities. Though it is understandable that it is only an approx 20hr-camp, what is really unexcusable, as many of the campers (6T and 6L students) have pointed out, is the uneven distribution of time for the simple activities like facilitation, breaks and major activities like kayaking and the team-bonding game which we have on the second day. Here is a commentary of the games we played so far: Kayaking was simply both rejuvenating and exhillarating in the sense that not only do I get to keep in touch with this seasport ever since 2 years, but I have also acquired an entirely dissimilar feeling having to kayak under the rain with DTKL the 'perv' -'- lolx ..though we have done much work paddling away on kayaks 21, 41 and 44 (i think) on three disjointed occasions, it was nevetheless a not-to-be-forgotten experience with this pal hahahaahaha. Oh yes, also, we were rather 'honoured' to have clinched first and second during two of the occasions, though we seriously lacked coordination; more recognition goes to the unwavering tenacity in the course of the paddling. Albeit the journey being perceived to be more of a relaxation and for some, experimentation, we felt it was otherwise a challenge and competition for pride indeed hahah. The fun was simply indescribable though the energy and strength forked out was demonising and brutely lolx ...Oh and for the dragon boating, I did not stand a chance to actually sail on it and work together in unison with the rest of the classmates (though I get to feel its hull and carry it offshore and onshore). Perhaps this was due to my predilection for kayaking, an activity that seeks for a different discipline compared to dragon boating in terms of interdependence. By the way I must say that I do look up to the corksins as they are the main maneuverers of a dragon-sized boat indeed. In any case, all choices do have their own values...when it comes to the catered meals, I have to admit that they do taste reasonably average though I, or rather, we would still prefer to undergo the inconvenience of buying and later cooking our own foodstuffs which definitely instill fun and independence. The facilitators were friendly and helpful though understandingly agitated and a bit insensitive to others at times. lolx....By and large, without their commitment to the camp, it would not have made headway in the first place....the presence of our CTs also made our classes seemed more united too though I feel that the class has yet to mend its attidudinal ways. I hope that my dear emo yaoyao can bear with such demeanour :(): good luck to his campaign too...cannon in D is really a tuneful and touching song and I hoped that it would reach out to the hearts of his assessors. ...As for the new class CT rep, I am totally incognizant of its bearings....let's not discuss about it till next week when yaoyao is on his china trip (best of luck on your journey) ...he is indeed one who can lay a mark on someone's life judging by his dispositions and qualities.....oh and regarding our new classmate Clara, I thought that she was a rather outspoken, sociable and cool person...kind of admire her...well.. but before I were to ramble on any further, i shall continue to discuss about the camp as a whole...Overall, I get to interact with classmates whom I have infrequently communicated with, especially the girls....lol (could still remember the truth or dare game from which I, agus, yuan wei, si qi, jing jing and jing wen have derived most of the gaiety in so far).....well this is indeed, honestly, a class bonding programme, but merely up to a certain extent...there are still grudges and complaints targeting at minority groups (i shan't reveal) with respect to the uneven distribution of work and enjoyment when it comes to stuffs like cooking and pitching of the tents...on top of that, communication between certain groups were utterly abysmal...i guess this can further sour the relationships between certain groups ...wonder how will our class turn out to be like come next year...well, now that the camp is over and common tests are approaching as early as in 8 weeks time, I speculate that there will hardly be any opportunities available for a united class outing ....anyway, I am still convinced that this unprecendented class will continue withholding its dignity till the very last breath....
