!@$$% the usual mouse we have been using for this com has been considerately removed for the benefit of everyone, especially me :) so I took out this mouse with the retractable USB cable from the drawer JUST BESIDE THE COM and plugged it into the CPU. Fortunately, it works (of course); however, it just can't be manoeuvred well. Mouse aside, there are more necessary things to talk about as well. The past three consecutive days saw me having fun in Yen Palace restaurant, my 2nd uncle's place and in citylink...all held in conjunction with 2 particular birthdays---my grandma and elder sis (both of them shared the same english birthday)I guess that such a gathering(first 2 days) proves a rare opportunity for us relatives to see one another face to face, not to mention two days in a row.....actually, my 2nd uncle did not mean to throw a party on the 16th with the intention of celebrating my sis b-day (which he did not even know at first till the arrival of the day itself), but instead, to reward her for her achievements up till this point in time.....it's just very cool to receive angbaos, and presents on such occasions, occasions that do not usually happen....it is commonly perceived that as one continue to age upon reaching a certain age, there is no more meaning to having to celebrate his or her birthday...quite true but people don't normally think of their achievements, they see other people
s achievements, they can feel it. But when it is they themselves who've successfully reached their goals, or reached a certain point in life worthy of commendation, they are just unable to widen their mindset and understand the real implications....perhaps one requires time in doing so...everybody differs....:);0:)...........ok enough of this...i guess i should stop for now
