it's nearing 9 now....went for open house as mentioned..had 2 stage performances which were scheduled at 930 and 1130 at LT2. To our dismay, we were practically performing the items to those not interested in knowning how the school's actually doing in the musical groups section. There may thus not be a point in practising for 'PIRATES' in the first place if what is supposed to be reaped does not even outweigh what has been done----it's just because of standards I guess. :( It was only in the afternoon when the passageways and blocks were teeming with people--mostly jc1 students though. As usual, people from st nicks, ri, rg, acsi, mgs, cgs, vs, cat high etc turned up for such a splendid annual event, one which concerned them to some extent. There are some reasons as to their appearances: 1) merely following their friends but doesn't have any plans in mind, 2) confident of getting in but just showing up so as not to wait for 3 months before 2008 commences 3) has plenty of time to spare and doesn't mind going anywhere 4) wants to set benchmarks and standards 5) find that secondary life is so sick and can't wait to find out how is it much better here 6) ellitist mindsets, does not plan to venture elsewhere 7) by coincidence...there are actually much more but who will actually bother to list them out.?? helped out at the PE booth from 12-2 (actually didn't really do much except for watching raffles rock and jazz live in action...) this is not really that fun. As what Jon has said, the real thing will be CCA feste-the actual time to recruit members...oh well....from 2-4 went to range to help out...helping them load the guns that's all, nothing much to correct on as they were just trying out the facilities I guess. Talking about the range, oh yea, will not actually be training there hereafter as the actual com is held at safra yish. From 16 OCt onwards, life will be totally cool. that's totally the opposite of stagnancy.
after the open house, of course went to arcade dunno the how many time liao shooting hoops and steering cars and smashing air hockeys so on....penniless these days i guess. well back to pw as for now, as in for these three days.

Too many people are thinking of security instead of opportunity. They seem more afraid of life than death. James F. Byrnes (1879 - 1972)
