promotion day

'sacred' food at Superdogs after hotdogged rostis and rojak salads at Marches? wat a dining experience. a whole hefty sum of 20 disappeared within a trace? pleaase?? 6T's journey to the west at first, visiting the opium tree at Pasir Panjang. Singapore's Japanese occupation from as early as 8 Feb 1942. WOW.the sinistrous darkness, lethal atomic bombs, guerilla attacks all over the place, hundreds of thousands massacred, buried alive...now that peace is established and security has found its place and position on this perilous little red dot where we reside in, can we safely say that our nation has done itself proud? well it all depends. brought the brochure home, worth a read though. After all, it's reflections at Bukit Chandu. hmm...anyway, here's some food for thought: There's a dark side to each and every human soul. We wish we were Obi-Wan Kenobi, and for the most part we are, but there's a little Darth Vadar in all of us. Thing is, this ain't no either or proposition. We're talking about dialectics, the good and the bad merging into us. You can run but you can't hide. My experience? Face the darkness, stare it down. Own it. As brother Nietzsche said, being human is a complicated gig. Give that old dark night of the soul a hug! Howl the eternal yes!
