first time this year...

yes, i nearly died yesterday, had I been any careless..i was careless in fact..it started out with quite a bad sore throat and slight fatigue at around 3 plus while we were hitting balls to each other at the usual table near bishan north shopping centre. Yes, how stupid it is to persist flexing the muscles and 'oscillating' about the table in trying to give it your best shot while you know that you are going to just collapse any sooner. It was not after meeting up with my calvin and some of his other friends when i suddenly have an urge to return home, for some reason sake..well I did not intend to go over at first but it was curiosity and boredom that I realise why not? There were 10 of us at first...since we were at bishan north, why not kick some ball at the street soccer court nearby? fine, we went there but to our dismay, the door was kind of locked and the place inaccessible for some hell of a reason. Leaving us choiceless, we decided to use the field at bishan park which I felt, did not really make much of a difference after all. What was different was that some adults joined in the fun, which was, rather shortlived. The skies showed no mercy and started drenching those shelterless...The game was called off but at least, we did play for a considerable amount of time. Following was the much awaited captain's ball at calvin's house; he has quite a large pool below his condo so we decided to play ball in it..At that point in time, I didn't really feel sick, but just knew that my throat had worsen and my body shaking from the cold. It turned out some time later at night that I had came down with a high fever..my body starts to weaken, head starts to ache, throat was at its utmost deplorable state. Worse still, I had to stay mute for the rest of the night and only ate a fishball. My night ended with a 'bang'-had to leave earlier for home with cf's company.. everywhere was cold and unfriendly..except for the warmth he provided me with...today, I decided to take a leave from my attachment..that's it...as to whether I should find a doctor, I shall decide about it later.
