yesterdy was quite a disappointment. except for the fact that there was a change in the venue of the national day celebrations compared to last year. This was not that important though. Dismayed that the relay race was cancelled. I thought things would change, at least by a bit should the relay race proceed. I just can't forgive the weather. why did the lightning flash at the wrong time? why did the inter-cca race commence so late? It was supposed to start at 4:35! why won't the events stick to their own schedules? Now there's nothing left. the celebrations were quite good but i could not admit that it was way better than last year's. How can it be. The rain just destroyed everything thing. Caught the mummy 3: tomb of the dragon's emperor yesterday at amk cathay cineleisure. We arrived at the ticketing booth just as the movie was about to start. The feeling of coincidence was quite good. it was 13.50 then and i could not forget the feeling of anticipation with regard to the race. All i could think of was that i would not be late for it. The movie lasted for about five-third of an hour; the plot was normal and a bit predicted but the video effects were as alike the 2 prequels, spectacular. would give it 3.5 stars at the least. Haiz just can't stop thinking of the relays. At catholic high, i could vividly remember that i took part in the 800m race for edward house for 2 consecutive years when i was in sec 1and 2 respectively. Those were the times when i trusted that my stamina was able to pit against the rest. And i was not wrong, i was not the last feww, though neither did i emerge as the best few. At least i partaked in it. Then my confidence in 800m soon plunged, a testiment to my running the 400m-long distance on my fourth year at cat high. I was able to qualify for the finals of the inter-house activity though i only managed a 4th place which, surprisingly, was not as bad as i thought.At least, the participation was there. But coming back to the present, I still feel dejected about being unable to run for at least once, this time a supposed 200m, in this school, especially when someone was also running. but i must learn to be glad at something, that the last minute offer from my junior to fill up the vacancy of this relay team was not rejected. I have ran the 800m, the 400m, but never the 200m, somthing which i have never tried b4...
