watchin china's women badminton doubles. come to think of it, think this is one of the best games to watch. Gymnastics makes one feel a bit worrisome but all the more thrilling. As for swimming, especially for relays, it is rather unpredictable as to the outcome. Caught the 4 x 200m freestyle women's relay just now. As usual, countries like the US and france made it through the top few for the heats though china came in quite close. Was watchin the quarter finals for the women's single badminton game just a while ago, was praying hard that Xu could manage a victory for the second round against xie xingfang - the germanian, though born in china, was so close to showing the top seed of china the door ... she was striving so hard and not resisting the temptation to give up due to overwhelming pressure. The match was intense. The scores were 19-21 and 21-23 --- what a close match, if only the fiancee of lin dan could have been a little more careless. Looking forward to the tabble tennis matches, and of course, track events. A week more to enjoy the games.. came back from swimming with dext just now. felt so invigorating and stress-free, though i haven't entered the pool for proper business for quite a long while. Assembly was kind of dissimilar to the usual PRJC talk. I think that the inspiration was great. Watching people peak at something almost seemingly impossible to achieve makes one feel anything but indifferent. It makes it seem as though studies are nothing...seriously... leong yw is quite a motivator... the olympics just made one even more motivated to compete aggressively...
