the usual lamentations and commentations

now it is a good time to blog. A flurry of bad events have taken place: me losing my badminton racket (not confirmed though), my black ns specs broken on one side and my reward of 3 extras for not picking up my phone during the warning activation, all in a matter of a week from last sunday till book out. The only good thing was the bookout on thursday which thus makes the week not so long as it should have been......well at least for the regimental duties on the 5/4, 25/4 and 29/4, they were not so bad as i thought, part of which will be mentioned later. Firstly, i have not done any before, not even in plc which supposedly is much better from what i heard. Secondly, this serves as a wake up point for me to take more precaution now that things are not really going for the better both in and out of camp, individually and locally on the aspect of security. well that is basically what happened

oops today is the 26/03 and it means finishing what i wanted to say about last week (above continued in red) as well as discuss briefly about this week and upcoming weeks to come. Well life is good and bad as usual in camp. Good in the sense that the comms trial was cancelled and that there was no ippt specific training this week, not that i knew of only until this morning. There was a standby universe sort of this week and it was so totally unexpected. 3 guys (i won't say who) have their items confiscated due to illegtality and will the music come monday. At first, i thought that this standby was deliberate and was planned some time ago but it was because of one stupid incident that took place in the office that led to this and other 2 people getting punished. This explained my earlier point of receiving 3 extras. There were and still are some unpleasant things happening in camp and i shall not broach about it; as long as i have come to an conclusion of how i am going to deal with certain issues. This weeks, the main focus was on monday when we tried out the lcdn and carried out the usual normal equipment maintenance and check and standby etc.. other than that there wasn't much. We ran our 5km canal route run this morning and boy was it really shag! It was quite cool being in the lead and i knew that this was exhilirating. Hoping to take part in a marathon come the end of this year and more to come! I know this would be interesting for sure... can collect more vests and singlets too lol. oh and on the topic of pt, there is going to be a formation ippt on april fool's day and it will include people from other camps coming down to take the test. Well, pray hard that everything will go well and interesting. Took a half day off today which means no need for bike maintenance and stoning till 1730h today! Felt quite accomplished from the half day I took - borrowed dvds and books, ate at dallas chicken and ribs with cay and went around looking at movies and dvds and music cds etc, and just as i went back, my ez link card ran out of value...next week is good fri and hopefully it will be better than good! taking offs on the 12th and 26th april wooo!!! hopefully the month of april will whiz past and that will only mean 2 things, my batch will become the most lau jiao batch when the 52nd troopers ords in may and also, time for us to ord!
