coincidence

trigo eqns for the day:
(Addition formulae)

  • sin(A+B) = sinAcosB + cosAsinB
  • sin(A-B) = sinAcosB - cosAsinB
  • cos(A+B) = cosAcosB - sinAsinB
  • cos(A-B) = cosAcosB + sinAsinB
  • tan(A+B) = (tanA + tanB)/(1- tanAtanB)
  • tan(A-B) = (tanA - tanB)/(1+ tanAtanB)

(double-angle formulae)

  • sin(2A) = 2cosAsinA
  • cos(2A) = cos(2)A - sin(2)A = 2cos(2)A-1 = 1-2sin(2)A
  • tan(2A) = 2tanA/(1-tan(2)A)

i know that this looks damn immaterial and 'wussy' but ...who knows? This may help though. I guess that I am just far from being a maths wizard....so nicholas (you should know whom I am referring to), you can consider chucking this nickname aside as for the time being.

It has been some time since I last blogged. Today was so coincidental indeed. ..As I have reckoned, there are definitely bound to have some cropped-up connection problems in class so I went to email the latest file to yuanwei only this morning! Can you believe how negligent I am? In actual fact, I didn't really expect the internet connection in class to be that abysmal to the extent of having to postpone the presentation ...what a fluke indeed... heehee...I guess that working till the last minute brings no good eventually...I bet that DonT was humiliated during CV lesson today....so much for being the GP representative....it's possible to understand the feeling of having to undergo what is being disliked of. As for project work, it is rather coincidental for Jing Wen's pair and mine's to be focusing on the same groundbreaker..LOLS

Anyway, it is rather astonishing to hear of the scholars' apparent triumph over the locals in garnering a better score in the recent GP summary and comprehension...Is it a matter of wits? or is it a matter of effort?
