trigo equations for the day:
(factor formulae--2 types)

  • 2sinAcosB = sin(A+B) + sin(A-B)
  • 2sinAsinB = cos(A-B) - cos(A+B)
  • 2cosAsinB = sin(A+B) - sin(A-B)
  • 2cosAcosB = cos(A+B) + cos(A-B)

(obtained by +/- any of the 2 addition formulae)

  • sinP + sinQ = 2sin(1/2)(P+Q)cos(1/2)(P-Q)
  • sinP - sinQ = 2cos(1/2)(P+Q)sin(1/2)(P-Q)
  • cosP + cosQ = 2cos(1/2)(P+Q)cos(1/2)(P-Q)
  • cosP - cosQ = -2sin(1/2)(P+Q)sin(1/2)(P-Q)

[by letting P be (A+B) and Q be (A-B) ]

(R-formulae)

expressing the sum/difference of a sine and a cosine function into a single sine or cosine function by usingthe addition formulae and comparing coefficients

ok...so much for the chapter on trigonometric formulae...feel that it should have already been covered in the past years.

back to my entry....firstly, I was unable to blog, much say use the computer last night due to the cca dinner-cum-movie activity after school which have eaten into my personal time...well in fact I have to comment that the pepper lunch express I had at food junction last night was'nt that satisfactory in terms of the portions given relative to the price; but much credit, I shall say, would go to the interesting self-barbecuing method of cooking the raw meat (heavily salted) - it is rather simple though unique.....as for the movie 'Bean's holiday', I found it rather hilarious though i guessed it was intentionally abbreviated. But what I found rather vexing was the folly behind the overuse of the video camcorder ...however, rowan's creative juices did not fail to flow in the sense that he was able to think of great plots, though it's a bit unrealistic....lol...i shall rate it 3 1/2 stars if given a choice....the first sequel is definitely more worth watching isn 't it? well...By and large, I still feel a sense of satisfaction at the end of the day, though friday should be the most taxing day of the week judging from the timetable...Regarding the second intake for shooting, I shall not say much.....haiz......dun worry, there ain't any implications

as for today, I went to AWWA family centre near boon keng MRT station with Jing Wen where we tutored a pair of siblings individually ......For one and a half hours, I was faced with a 7-year old boy whom si qi is supposed to be in charge of. His name is Iylman (I called him Lymen and he was crossed for a moment) and he's damn playful though i can understand why..From 0930-1100, we were covering number bonds and lines under the topic of subtraction and addition which nearly bored me out....i seriously think that an abacus can do a great job!

ok....i haven't really started on my homework...except for math..there's still hcl, econs, and some read-up to do....haiz
