went with some bunkmates to powerhouse last night. Before that, met up with some NPCC guys and my very good buddy at plaza sing for a meal at Ichiban Sushi. Had unagi and shrimp set and man, the soup and rice just tasted so good! As the sushi-laden plates got transported around on the mini conveyor belt, we gradually gave into our temptation for sushis so of course, we grabbed some off the belt. The one i shared with jw and sy's actually quite ordinary - salmon sushi roll, but not without a blob of mayonnaise topping that seemed to make it look, and of course taste, wonderful. Spent slightly more than 20 bucks in total but oh well, it is definitely quite a fine dining experience! Went out of the shopping centre and music greeted us, music from one of Singapore's outstanding chinese bands - mi lu bing. Basically, they were putting off performances to highlight the essence of friendship; thus songs like 'graduation song' and 'peng you' were sung. I just loved the rocky edge they induced in the songs, and also their professionalism in their own area of expertise. i think that as a singapore band, they are really setting good standards! The crowd were a bit reticent, but yet still screamed with ardency especially once the singer-cum-guitarist pulled off a cool stunt or when there's a surprise element. The harmony was well done on the whole! keep it up! Oh well then clubbing was damn good!!! Benz brought 4 of his female friends along together with some other guys and we just had a great time there getting high. Though the music was not as familiar as those in Phuture, the disco lightings, the deejay's involvement and the massive crowd just hype things up to a great extent such that there is no reason not to sustain one's mental strength, at least for the start. Shared a jug of coke, sprite and cranberry vodka with the guys and man, it was goo-The burning sensation, the nice usual flavours etc. All in all it was a birthday celebration and though not every bunkmate turned up, it was quite a success however. And not to forget, one thing that prompts me to club yesterday was the free entrance fee! (cuz we had one member to sign us in for free!)...booking in now
